I am in the market for a new car and am looking at the Lexus Rx, Genesis CV 80, and Acura MDX. I like all three, but I like the interior and look of the Genesis, but I do not know much about the car, especially since it is only 2 years into production. Could you give me your opinion about the Genesis and which car is best for the money? I keep my cars until they die on me, so I am looking for reliability. Thanks

Definitely stick to Toyota or Honda if that’s the case. If you plan to buy brand new, realize the Lexus RX and Acura MDX are too new for anyone to know how long they will hold up over time. The Toyotas and Hondas of today are not as durable or reliable as in the past, just know that. But still, you would be better off with either of them over a Genesis product any day of the week.

If it were me, I would look at a previous generation Lexus RX.
