GLA Mercedes opinions

I’m interested in buying a pre-owned Mercedes GLA . Their nice looking vehicle. I own an awesome 4runner 2006 (I will not get rid of it because it’s perfect! Paid off several years and loving it!) but I want a luxury type vehicle to drive out into town. I know I will get your honest opinion! I’ve checked out the Lexus but the body style of the GLA is really nice and the moon roof is fantastic.

I’m skeptical about all that is said about the Mercedes, but trust your opinion. Could you come car shop with me? 😂 not kidding.

Lease one and as Scotty says: get it out of your system.

It's your money...

If you must have one lease them only and keep under warranty and return before the warranty expires.  These are all overengineered German machines full of technology and will cost a small fortune every time something breaks or needs repair.  Also, companies like Mercedes know the vast majority of people lease their vehicles so they cram a lot of technology and features into their vehicles so the lessee will continue staying with them as well as get new lessees.  They are not on the business of making vehicles that will last a long time without breaking (like a Toyota or Lexus).  Also, good luck finding a competent mechanic that can work on those vehicles (especially with all the electronics) - if you find one they will cost more - and if you have to go to the dealer the y will definitely charge an arm and a leg.

Mercedes are reliable they just cost  more than a Toyota, Honda etc to repair if they do break.

My parents have been driving them for 30 years,  they have all been very reliable cars.

They do depreciate quite a bit if you buy a new one

nah mercades are CRAP DUDE

Nah, that's not true. My parents have had about 15 of them and never any major problems
