Is that motor crash valves & stuff when timing belt breaks? what's the name for that?

The GM 3.1 uses a timing chain, not a belt.

Timing chains typically don't break.

Just change your oil regularly and drive like a civilized person.

what's the name for that?

When the timing chain/belt brakes, on an interference engine, it bends the valves and sometimes even destroys the pistons.

Interference engine.  Yes, the 3.1L is an interference engine.
