I have a 2010 cobalt. Traction control works perfectly fine but I was just wondering why is it when I pull the emergency break why does it turn traction control off? Do they feel that I won’t be using it anyway since if I have the break pulled I won’t be moving anyway. I don’t think it’s a problem I’m just curious why the manufacturer is would take the time to turn it off when the emergency break is applied.

Traction control needs the brakes to be working properly.
