Planning on getting my girlfriend a 2005 Buick LaCrosse Cxl with 62,000 miles, a v6 3800 series 3 engine all for $4,500.
it’s from a family friend with one previous owner over 80 yrs old.
Any Thoughts and/or advise?
A bit pricy for me being a 15+ year old car and all that, but if there be no leaks and it drives fine, besides being a car that drinks gas, not as much as v8 though. It's an old person's car. Those are typically very well taken care of. And drive like a boat. I would try to see if I can talk the price down and get it properly checked out anyways. It's always good practice.
For that kind of money, get a Camry or an Accord, instead.
No matter what you buy, have it checked out thoroughly by a professional mechanic, before you buy it.
Those 3800 series engines are pretty good but I would try to get the price down a bit and make sure that you have a mechanic check it out before you buy it. Best of luck!!
$3000 max for this actually decent Buick but for $5000 get a Camry V6 with a bit more miles
