P0300 vw passatI like I look forward to hearing your response

four days  ago I purchased a 2001 Volkswagen Passat turbo with 240 K automatic transmission and I noticed driving at home it had its not like exhaust inside the car when I was driving I had to keep the window open a bit and that today is still the same engine light came on just today and gave me the code P0300 does the exhaust smell inside the car have anything to do with this code I’m not getting a rough idle the car runs great I’m just getting the cold in the engine light for some reason and I sure hope it’s not blow by that’s in the cab of the car I like I look forward to hearing your response

Oof... P300. Random/multiple cylinder misfire... Oof... If you smell something off like exhaust. There be a problem somewhere. Mainly is without looking it's kinda hard to make an educated guess, I'd put my bet on exhaust leaks from the turbo side of exhaust manifold. couldn't tell ya though, look into it soon or get your money back.

Just get your money back ASAP! Who in the world gave you advice to buy that car? Evidently without a mechanic inspecting it, first.
