I'm a retired GM employee and decided to buy a 2021 GMC Sierra. Now I know you're not a GM fan, but I get the GM Employee Discount, which is a big factor in my GM purchase. My question is what are your thoughts on GM's 4.3 Liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission? I decided on this engine/trans combo because it's a simple engine and transmission with no turbo, unlike GM's 2.7 4 cylinder engine which does have a turbo. I didn't do the 5.3 or 6.2 engines after reading about lifter issues. So again what do you think about GM's 4.3 Liter V6 and 6-Speed Transmission combo? Thanks, I watch you every day.
Well as far as I'm concerned you picked the best GM that you could. I personally would not buy a GM product myself but you picked the best of what they've got out there

I don't know much about the 6 speed, but the 4.3L is a tried and tested motor. Very reliable.
