Hey guys i own a go kart with a GY6 engine and I've always been wondering why it keeps on throwing a lot of white smoke and it burns oil a lot of it the carburetor has problems I've cleaned it many times I've used it today and let it rest and it just takes its time to start any thoughts on GY6 engines

Well with air cooled engines that generally means you're burning oil. The white smoke is burning oil. Water cool dungeons often burning coolant and it's steam but odds are your engine is just flat worn out. Still compression test. See if the piston rings are worn out
