I am considering purchasing a 2011 Toyota Venza Base I4 AWD (6-Speed Automatic Electronic with Overdrive 2.7L I4 SMPI DOHC), 2.7L Inline-4 Gas. 129,005 miles for $12,961. It has had 4 owners/ fleet use, with no accidents. The only unrepaired recall is for the driver's side front door sensor for the airbag. Of course, I would get that fix ASAP.
Consumer reports gave it 5/5 on reliability and 4/5 on owner satisfaction.
But I really want YOUR opinion, should I take it for a test drive? Buy it?
So Scotty what do you think?
Oops headline say 2001 It should read 2011
Consumer Reports is not an accurate source for reliability information. However in this instance it appears they are correct.

You should check recalls and technical service bulletins that have been issued, both available at the site above.
Be sure to have a good mechanic check it out thoroughly before purchase. If the seller will not let you do this, run away.
My only main concern would be that it was used as a fleet vehicle and in some cases those owners don't do the basic needed maintenance and abuse it. So yeah definitely have a trusted independent mechanic check it out to make sure there are no signs of abuse.
It’s basically a Camry. Camry’s are amazing.
