Got an Australian 1999 Subaru Impreza GC8 WRX sedan.
Recently had the ECU upgraded to the Apexi PowerFC. Install and dyno tune done.
Car had been fine for a week or so, then 1 morning crank, no start.
Replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump relay. Battery is fine, near brand new.
Put the old ECU back in and same thing. Tested my old ECU in a friends car and it starts. Put his ECU in mine and same issue!
Towed to mechanic, who spent 8 x hours on it and gave up. So that's $1100 down the drain for nothing.
So far they've determined that "no spark at spark plugs" and gave up.
Tested;
fuel pump, inspect all wiring, check cam timing, check engine position sensors, check injector pulse ... All OK
Any ideas???
