Hi there.  I have a 2012 Buick Lacrosse Touring FWD with 140k miles, V6 engine and a rebuilt tranny from the aftermarket warranty company with around 45k miles.  While waiting at a light or any other place where the car is in drive and idling, I've noticed that every once in a while, for about 1/10th of a second the car weakly tries to move.  It's very intermittent.  The RPM's drop very slightly and briefly.  What do you think?  Thank you.

Clean the throttle body and MAF sensor, check for any codes and then go from there.

My engine doesn't surge. It just sits there idling like normal so do I still need to do the cleaning you suggested?
