Toyota dealership not honoring manufacturer warranty

Topic starter

Scotty a dealership

Rodland Toyota of Everett Washington.
is saying that the manufacturer warranty on a group of tundras and Tacoma’s all with less than 10k miles on them is not valid since they are pre owned. And that you would have to pay extra for the warranty. I already contacted Toyota motor company of Japan. hopefully they will do something if they can.
What do you think about this Scotty ??

They are wrong and trying to soak buyers for their aftermarket warranty that they get kickbacks on.

Typical stealership shenanigans. The balance of the factory warranty would apply except for any items specifically excluded by the manufacturer when the vehicle changes hands. People should take their business elsewhere.
