Scotty, I have a curve ball for you. I have a 1997 camry le v-6 with 206000 miles. The other day on my way out, it stalled. I restarted it again, it ran for 10 seconds and stalled again. With the help of a good neighbor, I pushed it back into my garage. My neighbor had his mobile auto repair tech look at it. here's the problem. He says that I have spark and the fuel pump works. He appears to have an older scanner ,it would not communicate with the OBD port. Also, there is a "clickity, clickity " noise under the hood by the firewall when i put the key in the ignition! He could not locate the problem. I' m beside myself $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Please advise! PaddyCoz
Not much of a tech if he can't figure out a starting problem.
Change your fuel pump relay. Then measure the fuel pressure.
