Hey Scotty, love you videos. I got ripped off and got a 06 Subaru Forester that had WAY too many problems that needed to be fixed, I got in an accident and decided to sell it for parts so I was wondering whats the best cheap-ish car I should get. since this is gonna be my second car, I’m trying to spend 2000 to 5000 on it. Thanks

2004-2008 Toyota Corolla Automatic is a good bet. Next time have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection before you buy the car.

You could get one in pretty good shape for 4 5k and ones with higher miles for as low as 2k there are so many out there so take your time to find one. Corolla would be my choice.

Also there are always the older Honda Accord/ Honda Civics with manual transmissions but they are usually in horrid condition good ones go expensive I personally would stick to the Corolla, maybe even a year 98-01 Camry but thats a little older unfortunately the newer ones from then on had countless problems.

2004-2005  Buick LeSabre  has Front Wheel Drive which has better grip in the snow than the Ford Crown Victoria or the Mercury Grand Marquis.  Many prefer the V8 engine of the Ford & Mercury.  The V6 engine in the Buick is also very good, probably better fuel economy than the Ford V8.
