2017 hyundai elantra 2.0l se 118k miles automatic. I have a grinding sound coming from the front passenger side breaks. I replaced the rotors and breaks already the noise went away for about 30mins then came back. Happens when accelerating and breaking. Only starts grinding at 20mhp
FYI: I deleted the duplicate comments below.
I replaced the rotors and breaks alread
What parts did you replace?
If you are sure that the noise if from your brakes, it seems like your brake pads stick to the rotors.
I replaced the rotor and the breaks. Idk where else the noise could be coming from.
Check the caliper. If the caliper doesn't release when you take your foot off the brake, it can cause the pads to stick to the rotors.
About the noise itself, does it change when you speed up?
It kinda cuts I'm and out like what ever it is is making contact with it then it will quite down some then get louder when I speed up
Happens when accelerating and breaking
hopefully you mean "braking"
