Hi. I am looking for a handicap equipped van for our special needs child and there are 2 we are considering. A 2013 Sienna LE with approximately 51000 miles and a 2017 Sienna LE with 38000 miles. there is a $7000.00 difference between the 2. The 13 has the 6-speed tranny and the 17 has the 8 speed tranny. Which one do you think will be more reliable provided they check out good by my mechanic? Thanks!!! Martin

I would say go with the 2013 Sienna with the 6 speed automatic. It’s only got 51K miles so it’s just being broken in. That transmission is tried and true plus you will save $7000!
Thank you. That was kind of my thought but haven't kept up with Toyotas for years.
