Harbor freight Hercules impact driver worth buying?

An impact driver has a 1/4" hex chuck, and is used in construction and carpentry for driving screws. It will not loosen a lug nut off a truck.
I think you mean an automotive "impact wrench"? Those have a square drive for attaching sockets and they deliver significantly more torque.
Harbor Fright tools are definitely not the greatest. But for the casual users, they can sometimes provide good value.
I suggest you look up "Project Farm" on Youtube. He does extensive testing on a many different tools, and usually includes contenders from HF.
