Hard To Find Parts

Scotty, who do you recommend for discontinued or hard to find parts?

Looking for an ABS ECU/Control Module for 2000 4Runner Limited. Part #89540-35122 to be exact. My local mechanic has hard time finding it.

Thanks for any pointers.

Billybob is spot on. Just don’t confuse (by accident) car-part.com with carparts.com See post below about a scam a member reported involving carparts.com:

If Rockauto doesn't have it, it is probably time to check the local junk yards.

If worse comes to worst, check your local junkyard.

Someone also posted a junkyard site on here, but I can't remember the name.

The junkyard site was car-part.com. If you can't find it used Rock Auto is probably your best bet for hard to find parts, although you could also try 1Aauto and Car Part Kings.
