Hello Scotty Community,
I am trying to take off the harmonic balancer on a 2006 Ford Mustang manual V6. We have been able to get it off only about an inch. It just doesn't seem to want to move any further. I need some ideas. The balancer wants to rotate. What are ways to secure it? I don't want to damage anything. I have the crank bolt out and am using the point attachment on the puller.

If you're using the correct puller and using it correctly, it will come right off. Look up some videos on youtube to help you out with technique.
