What is the best used hatchback in your opinion? I'm 49 I want this to be my last car. I need to know the best 3 or at least 2. It can be the same car but different years. And how many miles to stay away from. I don't have tons a money to throw at. I need to buy it and start driving it. Thank you very much for your help. Have a blessed day. 😎
The best Hatchback ever was the CRX IMHO. But I doubt you will find any in good condition as they are pushing 30-40 years old.
In terms of more contemporary cars, the Mazda 3 hatch, the Civic hatch, the Corolla hatch, and the Impreza hatch would be my preferences in that order.
Although for longevity and reliability, the Corolla, Civic, then Impreza, and Mazda 3 would more or less probably be the better order.
Ideally no turbo or direct injection, but those are harder and harder to come by these days. I’d take a turbo or direct injection from these brands than a naturally aspirated from other brands.
