Having a stall problem with Kuga MK1 2.0 Diesel AWD with A/T

Hello there folks!,

I'm actually from Turkey, I am asking it here and trying my chance bc no mechanic shop in my country even had a idea what's going on with it and told me to sell it as is. So let's get into my problem. The car is a 2012 2.0 TDCi Ford Kuga mk1 with awd and A/T

Especially when it's not driven for a long time, when you put it into the drive you can literally feel transmission trying to engage the gear but failing miserably with multiple thump noises and even stalls sometimes but if you press slightly to the gas pedal just before putting it into the gear it engages perfectly. Car has no other problems, fuel consumption is great, it goes trough gears perfectly and performance is great.

  • No error messages when diagnosed
  • Been trough 3 Ford dealerships/services and 2 private owned authorized services (nobody even wanted to touch the car or directly suggested a transmission swap).
  • Changed the battery (at the dealership) it fixed it for a while then it started to happen with more stalling chance, battery voltage looks OK too.
  • Service history shows clutch and everything about transmission and transmission itself changed roughly 25k miles ago.

Does anybody have a idea what to do? My father thinks it's unethical to sell it like this. I tried adaptive re-learning combo but failed to do it succesfully and Ford dealership said it could immobilize the car completely and rejected to do it for me.

Well said to hear there's no good mechanics there for me it's an easy thing I just hook up my fancy $6,500 scan tool take it for a road test until it stalls then I analyze the data find someone who can do that there's got to be some decent mechanic somewhere
