Should I get the Front wheel drive or AWD?  Also, is there anything that you can think of I should get or should not get?

Thanks

If you don't need AWD, I would just get FWD. Less maintenance and better MPG. But if you drive up north in the snow, AWD is definitely the way to go.

Get the 4cylinder.

Thank you

By your this a.m. action, I gather that my post didn’t help you much. Sorry, we here read a question, interpret it the best we can, … and fire an honest answer as a result! My interpretation was: … you want to buy a RAV, … but can’t decide on FD or AWD, … hence a vid link. Assumption was made that you already elected going 2021 RAV-4.

… now, I presume that you, in fact, wanted more info on a RAV. No trouble, ... I just wish your inquiry was more precise.

In fact, I do own a RAV, AWD, Trail version, … it’s a 2019. It’s my son’s daily driver. Some 43,000 kilometres on it so far.

Do we like it? Resounding yes. No problem so far, … just a recall on a fuel pump and an extended warranty on AWD drive train - many report drive train strange noises, hence warranty extension on on that part of a train. All gratis Toyota.

Sorry, I totally didn’t mean to vote negatively to any answer, I thought the up and down arrows are for moving up and down the page. I’m having some trouble navigating the website. Everyone has been super helpful and I appreciate it very much. Let me know if there is a way to remove the negative vote, I think I did it on another post also…..Thanks again and sorry for all the questions (buying a new car is just so expensive I don’t want to screw it up!)

@bryce2012 you can always upvote your downvote, in future.

I tried it said “you have already voted on this post”

I live in Northern Ontario so I might then get the AWD, would pairing it with the 4 cylinder be the best pairing or up grand to the V6?  I’m looking to keep the SUV longtime if that matters

Thanks

They offer the RAV4 with a V6 in Canada? They stopped selling RAV4s with a V6s several years ago down in the States.

Hello, if selecting the AWD option what engine is best to get with it 4 cylinder or V6?  (2021 RAV4)

Also, I live up north and normally get my cars sprayed with “Krown rust proofing”….is there any negatives to that?  I know they drill small wholes in the body of the cars in order to spray inside the doors and body etc…and rubber can sometimes change shape

Thanks,
