Hello Scotty! I want to know the answer to my question please...!

I daily drive a '07 Kia Picanto.

Can I drive it on the highway for extended periods of time? (10 hrs, almost 900 kms)

It has a very small 1.1 litre engine (48 kw, 65 horsepower)

Am I risking destroying the car's engine if I go? ...since it is that tiny...

Thanks a bunch

Im not scotty however yes you shouldn’t have any problems with the car just because the car is small doesn’t mean you are restricted from driving in the highway, engineers make it so you have the ability to do so!

I think you are fine and actually it is good for your engines to run with higher speeds steadily rather than stop and go in the city.

least wear happens on highway speeds

You have good cool air coming in and the engine is cleaning itself good. Just check the air filter to see if it's clean.

It's all good.
