Is a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS with 150,000 miles for $5800 worth it? I can probably get it for $1000 less since I'm trading in my current car towards it. Also is there any way to get exempt from the dealership fee?
No, its on borrowed time and the 2011 model year is possibly the worst Hyundai you can get, unless of course you want a new house in which case buy it and park it in your garage and wait until it blows up your house.
Among the common problems:
blowing up
engine stalling
engine blowing up
bankrupting you with constant engine replacements
Honestly a Hyundai could be considering subpar under 100k miles. After 100k miles, it deserves the "avoid like the plague" title given by reliability sites. You would have to pay me $5000 to give me a Sante Fe.

Thanks. I appreciate your advice. I'm just looking for a good non-pricey mid-size SUV for around 5k to 6k but I'm having a lot of trouble.
At that high mileage, I would pass on it.
2011 is around the time that whatever mid-level quality Hyundai managed to attain in prior years went straight into the toilet.
