My Honda Civic recently got broken into and the airbag stolen. I am wanting to trade it in for either a used Subaru Outback or Toyota Camry. On the other hand, should I buy new in terms on not paying for maintenance costs if the used vehicle would need it. I know a new vehicle depreciates when driven off lot so I am still on the fence. Any advice is appreciated.
Don’t buy a brand new car. Much better to buy used if you do your homework.

You are going to have maintenance costs whether it's new or not.
