I have an 05 ford explorer Eddie Bauer V6 4.0 I had a code for po402 on this vehicle I hadn't yet had looked at due to the fact my water pump went and had to send it to a garage to have the water pump replaced when I got it back from the garage of course I had the one code on it well it then had 5 different misfire codes besides the one and po117 engine coolant temperature circuit low input code auto zone told me replace the temperature sensor and do plugs and wires for the misfire no I can't even get to start u turn over the key and smells like it's flooded out turns over but don't start and I can't get back to the garage but at this point they charge me alot to fix one thing and it came back with many other problems so I was wondering if you had any advise in this matter.thank you and have a blessed day
If your car did not have these issues before getting it to the shop, they should be responsible for fixing your car. Call the shop and talk to the owner.
It sounds like some pretty sloppy work that may have to be traced back to electrical connections and vacuum hoses. I would definitely find a different mechanic.
