I have a 1999 Mazda Miata with 150k miles with a manual transmission. I drive home from work last night and saw a bunch on f coolant leaking from the back side and f the engine. I smelled coolant but no overheating or white smoke at all. I know there’s some kinda plug on NAs but I’m not sure about NBs. Someone please help!!

I would not discount the possibility of a corroded core plug on a 22-year-old vehicle if that engine has one back there.

I believe it to be your water pump cause that happened to me with my chevy malibu
