Which is more reliable Dodge’s Hemi 6.4 or Ford’s mustang coyote v8 and which would you chose?

If you were asking about the standard 5.7L hemi, I would say it’s close; both are very good motors. But the 6.4, I’m not so sure. It’s a smaller production engine, and used ones are more likely to be abused.
And Yaser is right - it’s not just the reliability of the engine but also of the car it goes in. For reference, my wife has a Grand Cherokee with the 5.7; the motor has been mostly fine (except the dreaded hemi tick) but the electronics have been one problem after another.

HEMI engines are reliable but the two of the Dodger cars is crap. I would go with Mustang.
