Hesitation up an incline and faulty fuel Guage

Hi Scotty, I'm a big fan, well, I have 2 questions here. I have a Nissan X-Trail T30 model with engine QR20DE automatic transmission with 105,000km. Recently I have noticed a few challenges with it and seem to be stuck.

The first challenge is when going up an incline, it loses power at a tremendous rate, say from 120kph down to 60kph. Seems to perform so well on a slope except up an incline. Replaced the air filter, cleaned the transmission oil filter, added new transmission oil, cleaned the throttle plates and much more but there seems to be no change, what could be the problem?

My second question is with the fuel Guage. I have a 54 litre fuel tank if not mistaken and the Guage seems to mislead me a lot. When I add up close to 15 litres of gasoline, it reads half tank, when I top it up further to 30 litres, it reads full tank. Had the pump tested but it seems fine. I seem to be stuck with these two issues and need your guidance on what to do.

Thanks

For the loss of power uphill, pressure test the fuel line.

For the fuel gauge, replace the sender unit.
