I have a acura TL 2005 automatic transmission with 136 miles I bought it from a dealership and after a year my water pump was failing went to get it replaced and my car still overheats when it’s stuck in a traffic stop what could be the cause of this

If it only overheats when you’re stopped, it’s probably because your cooling fans aren’t operating. Have them checked.
