I got my first family SUV, its a Honda Pilot 2018 with 55,028 from a used dealership in Philadelphia with one 1 owner from New York. I want to know what's your take on it and how much should I well maintained the car itself.

I was told they are known to have Emission Problems, Its my first time owning a Honda Model since I lost my Nissan vehicle.

Will be glad to hear from from you. Peace and love your videos from Philadelphia.

Those SUVs with the V6 have cylinder deactivation which is not good for the health of the engine in the long run.   I am not a fan of any engine that has that technology.  If it were my Honda Pilot, I would look into disabling it.   Also, be on top of your oil changes every 5,000 miles or once a year and use a premium filter with each change.

.

Also, don't forget to change the transmission fluid (and filter if accessible) every 40,000 miles.
