Honda Civic Ex 02 alternator belts break, screech

Honda Civic Ex 02/manual- Issue with alternator belt(s) that breaks a few times + an annoying screeching sound that it's been making as well- not sure if they go together [sound + belt situation]....

It's a little over 200,.... miles, but the engine that's in it I bought a few years ago [JDM ENGINE DEPOT] with only 50,000 miles & I put on a little over 30,000+ miles on it.

I changed alternator before [Sept 7th, 2022] from AutoZone [re-manufactured] & day before Thanksgiving the belt broke AGAIN & left me stranded [deep sigh].

Check engine light is showing 02 sensor if memory serves me correctly.

Please help me Scotty- if you can.

Thanks

Sheerice

For future reference please take a moment to note the difference between the title of your post and the body. The former is intended as a short description, is length-limited (long entries are cut short), and is not for all the details of your issue. That belongs in the body of your post. Thank you. (Title edited.)

My subject line was supposed to be Hey Scotty & the length of my descriptive info in the body; Hence, that was a error [sorry).

No problem, like I said just pointing it out for future posts. ("Hey Scotty" is not really a good title either and will usually be changed by moderators - preferably should be a short description of the topic.)

Check all pulleys to see if you have a bad bearing locking up in a belt-driven accessory or idler.

Thanks a lot- now I've to find a honest mechanic that treat females "fair"-

Happy New Year Tobias~
