Hey scotty i got a 2007 saturn outlook and every time i go to start it the engine starts shaking and i sometimes smell gas. Someone told me that a vacuum hose might be missing and causing it to shake and misfire. What should i do ? i’m not sure how to find the hose either

If you smell gas and the engine shakes you could be over fueling. Coolant Temperature Sensors were a pattern failure on Saturn's. Because they are within their parameters they don't set codes or turn on check engine lights, but don't reflect the true temperature of the engine when starting cold. They are cheap and easy to replace.
