- Hey Scotty. I have a 2005 Honda Accord with over 188000 automatic mile, automatic transmission. I just recently had the catalytic converter replaced after being hooked up by a scan tool by a mechanic. There is no check engine light on at the moment but does have a flashing maintenance required light when starting. I have had no problems until accidentally overfilling my gas tank from a pump that had a faulty shutoff switch. I noticed that it sputters around 40mph now sometimes. Do you know what could be the issue(s)?

Well if it all happened after you overfilled it my advice would be replace the evap canister and the EVAP vent valve
