Hey Scotty I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 4.8 litter with lifter noise I've heard that ATF in the oil may fix the issue. Ture or False?
Clarification: Does that model year have AFM (cylinder deactivation)?
No it does not have AFM

'07 was a transition year... New Body Style 07's was the first time they used that. The old body style 07s didn't have it in the 5.3
For the 4.8 depends on the engine code, but can't find out definitively what year they started AFM for the 4.8, I'm thinking around 2010-2011 ish

No, just try some Rislone or Marvel Mystery oil to see if it loosens them up.
