Hey Scotty I just got free car Nissan Sentra 2009 2.0l it's has 86k miles on it not that much it sounds great but I heard they have CVT transmission problems is there something I can do make last longer or and keep it will maintain and question I have is do have change timing chain as well ?
Well it's been taken care of. You don't have to change the time you change. There's really nothing you can do about those CVT transmissions. They are just weak now. You could change the fluid every 30,000 miles that helps but they're just so weak they wear out. But heck you got the car for nothing so my advice would be just driving and if it goes out then throw it away
Yeah it was not being used because the previous owner had died there trying to get rid of the car it was sitting there since 2021 was also well maintain. The only thing is I have to clean the interior because it's dirty as hell. And also to the reason why they gave me the car wasbecause they were selling the house but the car doesn't sound bad after all is pretty free I know buddy of mine has this same car with 200k but with original transmission all he told me was to give regular maintenance it should be fine I guess I just never had CVT car before but I do know that have keep we'll maintain until it dieds
