Hey Scotty Scotty I was thinking about switching out my 2004 Mitsubishi Galant with 227,000 miles for a 1999 Chrysler 300 3.5 v6 with 141,000 miles, is it a good trade??

You're going from the frying pan to the fire.
Getting rid of what you have while it still runs is a good idea. Getting into a Chrysler is a terrible idea.
Look into an Accord or Camry and see what is available in your price range. Avoid Chrysler though for sure.
