I want to keep the vehicle for a long time since it’s a GDI do i need to clean the valves using valve cleaner in regular intervals because the service manual doesn’t say anything about it.

Also how many miles can these new engines last ?

I would recommend an oil catch can to keep the gunk off the valves. I run one on my 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport and it works great. Got it from Mishimoto.

Mine is 2.0 Non-Turbo Charged I was going for SI but watched Scotty’s Video and since i live in Canada i went for the non-turbo one
I’ll still install the catch can thanks

You're welcome.

Just follow the service schedule in your owner’s manual & try not to beat the heck out of that turbocharged engine.

Their long term reliability is unknown & unproven, but it’s a Honda and they make the best engines in the world.

If you don’t push her too hard often, with an MT, a Civic can last a really long time.

Will following the service schedule and will also install a catch can

Then it’ll probably last longer than you even want it to..
