Hi my name is Charles
I have a 2004 Buick Rainier with an inline 6 I got a code for a accelerator pedal positioning sensor so I changed the pedal and I changed the throttle body but the code keeps coming up I reset the computer but it's still coming up is this a bad computer
P2138 keeps coming up I changed the throttle body and the gas pedal reset the computer but the code keeps coming up should I change the computer and how much would it cost for a shop to look for a short if it's a short.

Well assuming you got good parts and they were reprogrammed correctly either the wiring is bad or your main computer you might want to pay a mechanic on this one
