My dad bought a 2005 Nissan Sentra with 64k miles it sometimes doesn’t start on the first try even though it turns over it has new spark plugs and crank shaft sensor and a new battery no check engine light what could be causing this than you
Thanks for the advice we changed the fuel pump today and it starts great now

Try this:
Buy a can of starter fluid, remove the engine air filter and while spraying the can into the air duct, start the car. If it starts right a way, you have fuel/air mixture ratio issue.

I would recommend performing simple maintenance like checking the air filter and cleaning the air sensor. Since there is no check engine light its unlikely to be anything major.

Could be fuel pressure regulator
