Hi Scotty. My wife and I have an 04 Highlander V6 and 04 4Runner V6. Both of our vehicles had the check engine light and the VSC come on at the same time. I didn't see that you made any video about this problem. It seems like its a common issue with Toyotas. Only an emission code on the check engine part. Just wondered if there is any common solution and if the lights are tied together in some way. Also wanted to thank you for the advice you gave me to put an engine in the 04 4Runner. 460k miles on the odometer. Put in engine with 178k on it. Rocking out now. God bless you sir.
The lights are related to each other. When the CEL comes on, the VSC will also come on. What is the code it is giving?

That is typical Toyota software. No matter what code you get, the ABS and VSC lights come on.
