Do take off the fan belts and spray the whining noise goes away and it's something the fan belts drive but if it's not that odds are it's a transmission whining personally I'd live with it because rebuilding those things correctly cost a fortune

It needs secondary timing chains and shoes to repair. With that model generation that’s the most common problem with the car
