My Brother has a Astra H 2006 with 240,000km, manual 6sp, Z19DTH, mo error codes, my question is, the diesel mechanic has replaced the head with a genuine band new GM head, and as he’s putting the injectors back in, he goes to start the car, and they find that the injectors don’t work, so they tested the wiring and found no signal coming out of any of the 4 injector wiring? and they can’t seem to find why this has happened? i had a spare computer and they put that in to test it and same issue, they checked all the wiring loom and can’t see what it why it’s not sending the signal? there all out of ideas to get it to work... all they were doing is a head replacement, and now there is no power of signal in the injectors wiring loom? hope you have an idea, and able to help.

Well some mechanics they are doing that engine work requires a lot of things to be taken off and obviously they screwed something up. Odds are they crush the wiring harness or broke a sensor or even shorted wiring out to the computer.I see that all the time and guys who can do mechanical work like had work but electronics just baffles them so you're going to need to find a good electronic guy now and I would send the bill to the guys that did the head job
