Hi Scotty. I have a 1996 Ford F-250 XL 5.8L. I bought this truck private party. When I start the truck, it makes this whistling sound for about 3 seconds. This happens every 20 seconds or so and if whistles around 5 times. Then it stops. What could that be?

love and it's a bad idle air control valve they whistle it's generally some kind of intake leak can't even be sometimes a vacuum like somewhere where it's hooting in but more often it's auto air control valve

Might fix by pushing hoses back on firmly. Sometimes they Vibrate loose.
