Hi Scotty I drive a 2008 Volkswagen GTI 2.0 TSI CCTA I recently added too much oil without realizing it. I broke down I had my car towed to a shop the mechanic said it was the alternator so I had that replaced along with all spark plugs coil packs and battery. I only live a few blocks from the shop so I drove to my house. on my way home my car started blowing Blue smoke out of the exhaust. I drove it the last few blocks to my house and parked the car. Thinking back  I had realized I had overfilled it with oil I guess the mechanics overlooked this since there was no mention of it to me.  since then I have drained it to the correct amount of oil I would like to know if I'm supposed to change the sensors and oil filter as well? every time I drive every so often I'll get the low pressure and that loud beeping sound from the dashboard please help please and thank you! Ps I did hook up my scanner and there wasn't any codes found but I'm not sure if it's because I only have a cheap scanner

Well drain out the excess oil and fill it correctly and pray you didn't do any damage because if you put way too much oil in it can actually bend the Piston rods and blow all the seals in the engine
