Hi Scotty. I'm from Toronto, Ontario. I got into a car accident August 29 in my 2017 Ford Explorer Sport. I'm waiting for the insurance to pay me out. I've been eyeing the Toyota Highlander as my next vehicle. I was just wondering what years are best in your opinion. I'm looking between 2015 and 2019 or if you have any other recommendations. Thanks Scotty
Looks like you should avoid 2015 Highlanders https://www.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/Highlander/
Here's a site that can give you year by year items https://repairpal.com/2017-toyota-highlander/problems
Though condition and maintenance is more important than year on most cars.
Thank you.
The 2015 Highlander is not necessarily a bad vehicle, the problem is the seats are "extremely uncomfortable" for consumer's tastes which that's nothing to avoid such a trivial complaint.
Highlanders are indestructible either of those years as long you maintained them.
If you can afford it get it just keep in mind the newer ones have a lot more features that if you want it and are willing to pay for it then great if not just getting older one
Thanks everyone.
