Hi, Scotty my Toyota gs86 2017 has 16k miles and the Michelin tires are already going. The inside of the tire looks like a retread. the tread is sliced in a complete circle on the inside of the tire. they have always been losing air on the other ones ever since I got it. I don't abuse the car just for old fart pleasure driving? What can I get that will last? the car is always garaged

Thank you in advance

ariella

I think it would help if you could post a picture of the inside of the tire - that sounds really unusual and unsafe. You probably wouldn't want that to happen to the next set of tires. Post the picture on imgur.com and get a link to put in this forum,

If the inside of the tire is prematurely worn, it means there is either too much toe out or excessive negative camber.  Have your alignment checked at a qualified alignment specialty shop.
