Hi Scotty, My two Honda's a 2015 Pilot and 2016 HRV both are approaching 200,000 miles and have been well maintained. I would like to increase the weight of the oil from 0-20 to 10-30. I too live in the great state of Tennessee, the town of Jasper.
Increase the oil change frequency not the viscosity
See the maintenance section of the FAQ. You might also use the site search function since this kind of question has been asked many times here. (The short answer is stick with the oil recommended by the manufacturer. Using heavier oil than specified may be suitable for a 1949 Hudson but not a 2015 or 2016 Honda.)
