I'm looking at the 2017 Highlander or Pilot. Both are in the 80k range. I know the Pilot has a timing belt but I need your opinion on which has the more durable transmission. I remember you saying Honda trans hooked to their v6 do not last as long. The purchase will be from a dealer.

Yup, I’d go with the Highlander out of those two. Just be sure to get the vehicle checked out thoroughly by a good mechanic, before you buy it.

Toyota generally makes better transmissions than Honda so if you want durability between the two, definitely go with the Highlander.
