I have a 2014 Mazda 3 H/B Model S with the 2.5 ltr Skyactive motor, automatic transmission. The car has 22,000 miles. I purchased the car new and it has traveled from the SE of the US to the west coast of Canada. However for the last 3 years I have only been putting about a 1,000 miles a year on it. I have the oil changed each year. Being 7 years old, what maintenance would you suggest I have done. It has the original tires, radiator has not been flushed, battery was replaced after one year because it was faulty. I have taken it to the dealership for annual oil changes etc but they never suggest any other maintenance needs on the car. The vehicle is always garaged. I would like to keep this car for a few more years. It is really great to drive. About every 10 days I take it out on winding roads for an hour or so and give it a good long drive at 50 to 55 mph.
Your advice for is greatly appreciated. thank you
Tennki
I would flush the radiator I change the coolant like every 7 years I'd also inspect the tires if they are cracked and dry rotted I would replace them but the rest of the stuff for that low mileage you know hardly anything
thank you - I appreciate your advice
